Integrating Field and Laboratory Monitoring
Field to Lab integration was developed back in 2007 by linking our field trials weather data into a laboratory system for an agrochemical research company.
By linking their field trials data with their GLP laboratory analysis the soil sample data required was integrated and accessible globally - effectively linking the laboratory analysis directly to the field soil and weather results gathered by the weather station on site.
Agrochemical field trials can last for years, from the moment the trial area is marked out to the registration of the compound. Monikel systems are totally integrated into that lifecycle traceability.
This has expanded beyond field to lab into any environment that requires lifecycle traceability for example:
Food processing and food testing.
Traditionally testing begins when the food samples arrive at the laboratory. The vehicle used to collect the samples may have a temperature sensor, but it might not be monitoring the data. Microorganism growth can vary widely due to differing transport temperature or humidity so could the lifecycle traceability of these samples begin before the journey to the lab? Or before that? Early joined up monitoring ensures more comprehensive results.
